Relax with all your family or friends in this quiet accommodation just a short walk from the Lodi/ San Giovanni square subway station.
The apartment is conveniently located in the San Giovanni neighborhood. Within walking distance of the subway station, markets, stores, restaurants, you can savor the scent of Rome, mingling among the very Romans who populate the bustling neighborhood.
Space
The apartment is located on the 6th floor of a residential building. It is newly renovated, and consists of a living room with a comfortable and large sofa, a fully equipped open kitchen so you can prepare your meals at the end of your Roman day. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed ( 160 cm X 200 cm), the other with a full-size bed ( 140 cm X 200 cm), a comfortable and large bathroom with shower, and a convenient storage/laundry area where you can store your suitcases and where you will find the washing machine. Air conditioning present in the apartment.
The apartment is at your complete disposal. It will be professionally cleaned and provided with clean linens before your arrival.
Guest Access
To provide you and all our clients with a pleasant stay, consider the following:
– Check-in after 8 p.m. is subject to a surcharge of €50 to be paid in cash upon arrival. Late check out (when possible) 50 euro surcharge (cash). Early check in ( when possible) extra charge of 50 euro ( cash) Check in service between 02.00 am and 08.00 am is not guaranteed
– Please respect the house and the people living in the building. Respect silence between 2 and 4 p.m. and after 10 p.m.
– Additional housekeeping and linen services available for a fee upon request
Arrival: between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Departure: by 10:30 a.m.
– Guests will be required to present a valid ID at check-in for registration with Italian security authorities.
– For long-term rentals (more than 30 consecutive nights), guests will be asked to sign a rental agreement that will be made available via e-mail prior to arrival.
– For stays longer than a week (7 nights), a bed linen change service (10 euros per person) is mandatory. For long-term rentals, over 1 month (30 nights), bed linen and towels are not provided, but on request 10 euros per person per change.
The district
The part of Rome between San Giovanni and the Appian Way is an area well served by public transportation, filled with beautiful basilicas and full of stores. It is the ideal neighborhood to stay in the capital. In fact, it allows you to quickly reach the center by subway and spend pleasant days between cultural visits, shopping and walks in the green.
How to get around
Metro: The neighborhood is served by the Metro Line A, which, on the one hand, connects with Termini station, Piazza di Spagna and St. Peter’s basilica and, on the other, follows the trend of Via Appia Nuova to reach the Anagnina station.
It is also served by the Metro Line C, which cuts through the city from the northwest, in the Della Vittoria neighborhood, to the eastern suburbs extending beyond the Grande Raccordo Anulare for a total length of about 25.6 kilometers and 30 stations passing through the capital’s historic center.
Bus: Routes 81, 85 and 714 stop near the basilica of St. John. Numerous buses serve the neighborhood.
FS Station: A few minutes’ walk from the Ponte Lungo stop of the Metro A is the Tuscolana station, where connections are available to Fiumicino airport and major stations in the capital. In particular, the FL1 line provides access to Ostiense station, the Fiera di Roma, and Fiumicino airport on one side, and Tiburtina station and via Nomentana on the other (to reach Orte). The FL5 line, on the other hand, provides access to Termini Station, Ostiense Station, San Pietro, Via Aurelia, and Civitavecchia.
